Northwest Neighborhoods is the nonprofit provider of affordable housing and community development services for Cudell, Detroit Shoreway and Edgewater on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio. As a community-led organization, they equitably foster diverse, vibrant neighborhoods that are physically and socially connected, where anyone can thrive.

Community-Wide Assessments
In 2022-2023, Sangfroid Strategy partnered with Northwest Neighborhoods CDC to develop a five-year strategic plan informed by extensive community engagement. The process included a community-wide survey and a series of engagement sessions to capture resident perspectives and demographic variations in needs. We collaborated with the Center on Urban Poverty & Community Development at Case Western Reserve University to integrate neighborhood research and data analysis into the plan. By assessing the organization’s current state, programs, budget, and structure, we provided a data-driven roadmap for future growth. The final strategic plan reflects community priorities and equips Northwest Neighborhoods CDC with the tools to drive sustainable impact and neighborhood development.
