Strategy and Implementation

In 2024, Sangfroid Strategy partnered with the Montgomery County Two-Generation Collaborative, led by Learn to Earn Dayton, to guide a comprehensive strategic planning process grounded in equity, impact, and sustainability. Through a three-phase approach—assessing current conditions, co-creating a shared vision and Neighborhood Hub Development Model, and finalizing an actionable strategic plan—Sangfroid facilitated deep engagement across the Collaborative’s ecosystem, including HUB leaders, partner agencies, and community members. The planning process was vision-driven and data-informed, incorporating collaborative surveys, interviews, and a robust set of strategic working sessions. The resulting plan is geared toward improving internal collaboration, scaling best practices, strengthening policy advocacy, and aligning financial and human resources to maximize impact for children and families across Montgomery County. In addition to facilitating the core process, Sangfroid provided tools for implementation, sustainability modeling, and strategic communication to help the Collaborative maintain momentum beyond planning. This project reflects Sangfroid Strategy’s expertise in cross-sector collaboration, systems thinking, and equitable strategy design.

In 2025–2026, Sangfroid Strategy is partnering with Learn to Earn Dayton again to guide a structured and inclusive planning process to create a clear, actionable, and community-grounded roadmap for improving key educational milestones in Montgomery County: early literacy, eighth-grade math, and postsecondary enrollment. This process will elevate the voices of residents, students, educators, institutional partners, and funders. The project will weave together data, lived experience, and existing initiatives to build a compelling case for shared ownership, investment, and aligned action, resulting in a launch-ready plan supported by a tiered partnership structure, a shared narrative, and tools for activation.
