Strategy and Implementation

Sangfroid Strategy guided Starting Point’s board and staff through a five-year strategic planning process to strengthen the organization’s impact and sustainability. Following the plan’s completion in 2022, we continued supporting its implementation by developing seven key goals with strategies and measurable success metrics. Our work leveraged data and technology to optimize internal processes and created a multi-pronged communication strategy to enhance Starting Point’s visibility as a leader and advocate for families. The plan emphasized staff and partner engagement, ensuring alignment with regional early childhood and youth development strategies. We remain actively involved in helping the organization advance its change management priorities and strategic goals.

Community-Wide Assessments

In 2024, Sangfroid Strategy partnered with Starting Point to conduct a Child Care Landscape Assessment and Data Evaluation across its four-county service area. The project aims to assess child care capacity, needs, and growth potential by analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data. Our team is leading stakeholder engagement efforts, conducting a thorough review of existing data, and developing a detailed report with key findings and strategic recommendations. This assessment will provide Starting Point with critical insights to inform decision-making and enhance child care services in the region.
